Chicago Public Schools early childhood school-based preschool programs ensure children ages 3 and 4 years old, particularly those most in need, have access to high-quality programs. Ages 3 - 5: If your child is 3 or 4 years old prior to September 1, 2021, your child will be eligible for preschool programs.
